If you know of someone who is new to computers or worried about using them, we can offer help. This can include the provision and installation of second-hand equipment and introductary sessions in their usage. We can also provide basic start-up guides for people who are unfamiliar with the equipment and software.
Once someone has become more familiar with the equipment and its use, we can offer tailor-made advice and guidance about purchasing new equipment, or we can build a new computer to your personal specifications. Once we have discussed your requirements we will go ahead and build the computer and then come around to your house, install the equipment, make sure that it is all working correctly and offer advice and guidance about getting started.
If you experience any problems we will be happy to help you to sort them out, either through a personal visit or by telephone.
We have found that some customers experience problems that can be easily sorted out by having one-to-one training sessions with one of our experienced technicians. The technician will discuss your training needs and suggest a plan that fits in with the time you have available and your personal budget. Training sessions can be offered in a variety of topics, including:
- basic computing for beginners
- organising and storing files (file management)
- understanding, using and looking after hardware
- using the internet effectively and safely
- sending and receiving email
Please contact us to discuss your training needs.
